Jasmine Rice With Ginger Soy Beef

Flavorful Asian dish with fried beef, Wok Thai vegetables, and soy sauce.

Ingredients

  • 250g Jasmine Rice, uncooked
  • 1 Tbsp sunflower oil
  • 400g Beef, thinly sliced
  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 4 Spring onions, sliced (white and green separated)
  • 1 Frozen pack Al Wadi Al Akhdar Wok Thai vegetables, 450g
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste
  • ¼ Cup coriander, chopped

Step 1

Cook rice according to method on pack.

Step 2

In a wok, fry the beef in oil for 5 minutes, with stirring, and then add ginger and onions (white parts only).

Step 3

Cook for another 5 minutes. Add the Wok Thai vegetables, soy sauce, vinegar and sugar.

Step 4

Cook for 4 minutes then mix in 1 cup of water and cook to thicken. Season to taste.

Step 5

Mix coriander and green bits of spring onions and garnish. Serve hot with rice.
