Chicken Mloukhieh (Jew’s Mallow)

Ingredients
- 1 bag of Al Wadi Al Akhdar Frozen chopped Mloukhieh
- 500 gr of cooked chicken
- 2 tbsp of Al Wadi Al Akhdar Frozen chopped Coriander
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 onion, grilled
- 1 spoon of dried coriander
- 1 spoon of salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 1 L of chicken broth
- 2 cups of Basmati rice
- 4 cups of water
- Toasted bread
- 1 cup of lemon juice
- 2 spoons of vinegar
- 1 lemon for garnish
- 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp of butter
Step 1
Fry the minced garlic and coriander with the vegetable oil and butter. Add the chicken then the mloukhieh. Cover with chicken broth, and add salt and spices.
Step 2
Add the grilled onions over the mix. Let the mix simmer for 20 minutes. On the side, chop 1 onion and add to it the lemon juice and the vinegar.
Step 3
Serve with rice, onion mix and toasted bread.
