- 1 pack Al Wadi Al Akhdar Oussmalieh Pastry, thawed
- 10 pieces’ large size shrimps, cleaned
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 Tbsp (30 g) Sesame Oil
- 2 Tbsp (30 g) Teriyaki sauce
- 1 cup (200 g) flour
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Marinate the shrimps with the lemon juice, zest, sesame oil and teriyaki sauce. Marinate inside the fridge for at least 30 mins.
Cut strands of Ousmallieh Pastry.
Place shrimps into flour then dip into egg mixture.
Roll and wrap each shrimp leaving the tails unwrapped and press the pastry tightly to avoid pastry unrolling.
Deep fry the shrimps until golden brown.
Serve hot with Cocktail sauce.
