Italian Style Verrine

Small cups filled with cheese, tomatoes, and basil, an original starter!

Ingredients

  • 1 Jar / 190g Al Wadi Al Akhdar Pesto Sauce
  • 150 g Fresh Mozzarella cheese, diced
  • 10 Sundried tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 4 Fresh tomatoes, diced and sprinkled with salt
  • Al Wadi Al Akhdar extra virgin oil, to drizzle
  • Fresh basil leaves to decorate.
  • Parmesan crackers (optional)

Step 1

Spoon 2 teaspoons of pesto sauce in each glass.

Step 2

Divide the mozzarella in 6 portions and add over the pesto sauce.

Step 3

Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with sun-dried tomatoes.

Step 4

Top it with fresh tomatoes and decorate with basil leaves and crackers.
