Swiss Chard Stems with Tahini
    A light, appetizing Middle Eastern dip typically served with mezze.


    • 1 Bunch of swiss chard, stems only
    • ½ Cup Al Wadi Al Akhdar Tahini
    • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
    • 3 Tbsp water
    • Salt and pepper
    • Parsley, to decorate (optional)

    Step 1

    In a saucepan bring water to a boil and cook Swiss Chard stems until tender.

    Step 2

    Combine the sauce ingredients, Tahini, lemon juice and water and season it to taste. Stir well till you get a nice smooth sauce.

    Step 3

    Pour it over the Swiss chard and mix. Sprinkle chopped parsley and serve.
