Cheese-RollsIf you are planning on hosting a party for your friends, then serving finger foods might be the best idea if you don’t want to spend most of your time in the kitchen and if you want your guests to mingle more easily. Here are some of the best Lebanese appetizers that are served as finger foods.

Fatayer
Also known as Spinach Fatayer, they are juicy mini pies filled with – you’ve guessed it – spinach and pine nuts, and seasoned with lemon juice and pomegranate molasses. Delicious and filling!

Rekakat
The equivalent spring rolls of Lebanese cuisine are filled with cheese instead of vegetables or meat, which makes them even more appealing with their melted stuffing. Using the cheese of your choice, Kashkaval or Greek cheese, Rekakat are simply succulent. For a healthier choice, you can bake them instead of frying them.

Kibbeh Balls
One of the most beloved Lebanese appetizers is ground meat combined with bulgur wheat and stuffed with meat, chopped onions, peppers and pine nuts, either fried or baked in the oven. If you want to cook a vegetarian alternative to this appetizer, you can try the equally tasty Pumpkin Kibbeh Balls.

Falafel
Let your guests enjoy dipping homemade Falafel balls into the traditional Tarator sauce made of Tahini paste and lemon juice. For a more refined taste, prepare the Filo Cups With Soy Falafel And Mashed Avocado with Soy Falafel balls rolled in a smaller shape and placed on layers of diced tomatoes, grated cheddar cheese, grated mozzarella and mashed avocados.

Chicken Wings
Not the most obvious choice for finger foods, but eating chicken wings can be most entertaining for a big gathering of friends, especially during football season. Prepare Chicken Wings the Lebanese way with olive oil, coriander, garlic and pomegranate molasses. Your guests will be waiting for more! Just make sure to equip them with disposable gloves.

Tell us what is your favorite Lebanese finger food and if you have any other suggestions!
